The VP of Human Resources asked Sullivan Walsh Associates to conduct a compensation survey for executive positions in the foodservice distribution industry. Since the foodservice industry is highly competitive and fragmented, we suggested combining compensation research with executive recruitment. As virtual partners, our consultants directly recruited executives from competitors, and at the same time, collected incumbent level compensation data. We provided Alliant Foodservice with excellent market compensation research - and also supplied outstanding candidates that led to three executive hires. Our cost ratio was less than 10% of first year compensation.
